Crime Alert - Arson

Humberside Police are investigating a report of criminal damage and arson at an address on Vicarage Gardens.

The incident occurred at 23:30hrs on 14/09/25. The offender(s) approached an address in a dark coloured Subaru Impreza, with registration Y19 LVT, which they reversed into the gates of the address several times then set the vehicle on fire. The two suspects then made off on foot towards Oswald Road. If you have been a victim of criminal damage, please follow the below prevention advice -

Contact the Police as soon as possible on 101, or on 999 if the incident is on-going.

Consider reviewing the general security of your property, including CCTV and lighting.

Increase the surveillance around the front of your property by restricting any boundary wall/fence to a maximum of 1m in height.

Consider defensive planting by planting spikey plants or bushes.

Keep the area around your property free from rubbish and debris as best you can.

Secure any items on your property such as wheelie bins, that could be used to cause damage.
